Tenerife Port Guide

Tenerife Port has a lot to offers tourists. Tenerife, Canary Islands’ largest, is one of the most picturesque islands in the world. It’s approximately 790 square miles with fauna and flora, forests, deserts, volcanoes, mountains, marvelous coastlines and extraordinary beaches.

Tenerife is called by the locals “Island of Eternal Spring” because of its beautiful climate. There is noticeable little difference in the average temperatures between winter and summer which is between 59ºF and 75ºF. Rain comes occasionally.

Tenerife has great beaches for an exceptional sunbathing and swimming experience. Just a few miles away is Tenerife’s central mountain, Mount Teide, which is about 3,719m or 12,200ft. The mountain is the highest in Spain.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife which is the island’s capital is a bubbly town equipped for tourism.

Shopping

There are many places that make shopping in Tenerife a diverse and an appealing location to look for bargains.

A lot of department stores can be found here especially on the tourist areas. Prices in these areas are very competitive which makes shopping in these areas wonderful. The south is the main area when it comes to shopping. You can go to Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas. Santa Cruz, Tenerife’s capitol, is also another good place to shop. All labels can be found in the department stores. You’ll also find home appliances, electronics, furniture, and many more.
