Guided tours of Fuerte Amador Port are offered by tour companies. In many cases, the cruise line will have a tour booked, with a bus waiting to pick up passengers when they arrive. Popular tours available from local companies include a visit to Gatun Lake and Monkey Island, as well as a canal cruise of the Miraflores Locks. Another fun tour that is available involves visiting the Embera tribe in their village. If you don't have a tour arranged, you could also have a taxi driver show you popular attractions. Taxis can be hired on an hourly basis.
