Like other ships in the Carnival fleet, the Carnival Ecstasy is a floating city at sea with almost any amenity you could want. Your stateroom serves as your hotel room and home away from home and comes with a TV. Many will wonder whether there are DVD players in the room and whether they should bring movies from home for entertainment. In most cases, the answer is no. The rooms will have several channels of first-run movies to choose from and perhaps a jack on the TV for your own portable DVD player. Some suites do come with a DVD player in the room, but make sure to ask your travel agent for specifics before booking. For more info, see Carnival Ecstasy Cruise Ship
