Carnival Fantasy Cruise Ship

The Carnival Fantasy is the first ship in Carnival's Fantasy class. The ship has received regular upgrades to allow her to continue offering fun for all ages. The interior decorating scheme is a little more understated in comparison to some of carnival's other ships, yet still very inviting. The color schemes are tasteful and help make passengers feel at home. The main atrium features a circular bar and a classical music trio.

Fantasy has two main dining rooms, Celebration and Jubilee, both offering two different dinner seatings. The dinner offerings are multi-course and Mediterranean. Some of the selections include chicken topped with foie gras, sun-dried tomato soup, and mixed lamb. You can get low-carb, vegetarian, and other dishes to suit special needs.

The more casual buffet on the Lido deck features an international menu with Chinese and Asian, Indian, and French food. At night, they also offer a limited number of selections from the main dining rooms. During breakfast hours, the buffet even offers custom-made omelets.

A free sushi bar is available on a nightly basis, and you also have access to a coffee/pastry bar. You can also order a varied selection of items via room service. Room service is offered 24 hours a day.

Entertainment and Nightlife

There are several entertainment venues to choose from. Electricity Dance Club is a prime spot for those who want to dance the night away. The main theater, Universe Lounge, offers a number of professional stage shows.

The 21st Century Bar is conveniently located near the casino, and many like to hear the country singer/guitarist. The casino has lots of nickel and penny machines. The Forum is where all the karaoke lovers gather. The Majestic has a large, wrap-around bar that makes it ideal for gathering with others.


Cabins of all classes are tastefully-decorated and comfortable. All have plenty of closet space, comfortable spots for sitting, and TV's. The showers and sinks have good water pressure.

Suites all have balconies, with the balcony size dependent upon the suite's size. The suites also have separate living areas and large whirlpool tubs.


Adults who want a little peace of mind will be pleased with Serenity, the adults-only area with its own pool. The spa provides several different beauty and therapy treatments. The fitness center has an aerobics room and updated fitness equipment. Ping-pong tables, a walking/jogging track, basketball courts, and a mini-golf course are also onboard.

If you'd like to look at some books in a comfortable setting, try the Pavilion Library. You can easily do your souvenir shopping on the Atlantic deck, which has numerous duty-frees to choose from.

Onboard Fees

A $10 daily fee applies to each passenger, and the amount can be raised or lowered based on the level of service.

Taking the Kids

Kids traveling on the Fantasy will be pleased with the waterpark and its fun slide, as well as their very own pool. The slide isn't strictly for kids, so don't feel guilty if you want to give it a try.

Babysitting services are offered, and kids can easily enjoy age-appropriate activities through the Camp Carnival program. Teens even get to enjoy their own special shore excursions.
