Carnival Liberty Cruise Ship

Carnival Liberty is one of Carnival's most celebrated ships and is part of the Conquest class. Like her sister Carnival ships, she  features the design work of Joe Farcus. Liberty is dedicated to crafts. The ship travels both the eastern and western Caribbean all year long. Passengers represent all age groups.

Cuisine

The ship has a number of delicious types of cuisine to choose from. Midnight buffets are a regular fixture.

The Gold and Silver Olympian restaurants are the two main dining rooms and offer a wealth of choices. There are low-carb, low-sodium, and vegetarian options available. Harry's Supper Club provides a fine dining experience as an alternative to the main dining rooms. For a truly different experience, try Chef's Table, which includes a galley tour. Emile's, the buffet, has a number of pleasing options to choose from, including fresh omelets, sandwiches, and more.

The Origami Sushi Bar provides tasty treats for guests who want something a little different. Fish & Chips offers a number of seafood entrees. The pizzeria serves a variety of different pizzas to suit both conventional and unusual tastes. Room service is offered around the clock.

Entertainment and Nightlife

Several different types of entertainment are offered, ranging from family-friendly movies to late-night disco-style dancing. The theater, Venetian Palace, is 3 decks high, with ornate designs and a good view from most seats. It features Vegas-style shows. Venetian Carnival masks and Murano glass imported from Italy help add to the lovely decor. Hot & Cool keeps guests dancing til the early morning hours. The Cabinet Room is a jazz lounge with a cigar room. Flowers is a bar that has a pretty garden theme. An outdoor theater is located adjacent to the main pool area and runs movies or concerts at night.

Cabins

All cabins include a separate seating area, stocked mini-bar, wireless Internet access, interactive TV sets, and bathrooms with showers. Balcony cabins include outdoor furniture. The suites offer VCR's/DVD players and tubs in the bathrooms. A limited number of penthouse-style suites offer separate bedrooms, 2 full baths in each, and balconies.

Recreation

One advantage of a cruise on the Carnival Liberty is the number of activities to suit all tastes. Anyone from teens to seniors will appreciate the wealth of activities. The Antiquarian Library is a good place to quietly sit and read. If you need to use a computer, you can visit the Internet cafe or use the Wi-Fi connection if you have your own with you.

The main swimming pool features a twisting waterslide and two whirlpools. The second pool has a retractable roof. The spa offers a number of refreshing treatments and sells products to take home. The fitness center has several exercise machines to choose from.

A $10 daily gratuity and 15% beverage gratuity apply.

Taking the Kids

Kids of all ages from toddlers to teens will have several fun activities to sample. Group babysitting is offered for parents who want a night out. Younger kids can join in supervised activities or visit the playroom. Teens traveling on the Liberty with their families will be pleased to know that they have their own nightclub in the busy Promenade area. teens can also go on their own shore excursions.
