Celebrity Xpedition Reviews
Because of its small size at 296 feet, the Celebrity Xpedition can only carry 90 passengers, but allows it to navigate around exotic destinations. Everything is included in the price – from the drinks to the food, so the atmosphere is very relaxed and worry-free.
The main dining room is called the Darwin, with 6 to 8 people in each table. Breakfast and lunchtime are buffet-style, with an array of fresh bread, salads and fishes. During dinner time, the traditional five-course dinners are offered to guests. However, you can always grab a barbeque on the deck, or a shorter evening meal. Baked potatoes, barbecued ribs, chicken and fishes are served under the skies while you cruise around the Galapagos Islands. Aside from the Darwin, you can also grab some burgers and hotdogs in the Beagle Grill.
You can meet other people in the Discovery Lounge, which has a piano and a small dance floor. Here you will find presentations about the ship’s activities but you can also read books or play board games. Additionally, there’s a small shop with some souvenirs.
The top deck houses the sunbathing area, with showers, toilets and even a hot tub. You can go to the sauna, or have a massage. You can also work out your muscles aboard the Celebrity Xpedition.
Because of its intimate size, it’s not very hard to meet someone and make new friends. And with a fairly casual dress code, you’ll surely enjoy a well-deserved vacation cruise on the Celebrity Xpedition.
