Pacific Dream Cruise Ship

In 2010, the name of former cruise Ship "Pacific Dream" was changed to Horizon, owned and operated by Pullmantur Cruise Lines.

Highlights

Originally launched in 1990, the Pacific Dream is the new flagship of Pullmantur. The ship used to sail for Island as the Island Star but underwent a massive renovation in 2009. The 46,811 ton, 208 meter vessel can accommodate up to 1,875 passengers. The ship has a total of 620 friendly and dedicated crews always attentive to your every cruising need. Pacific Dream has a total of 9 passenger decks and can sail up to a top speed of 21.4 knots.

Cuisine

There are five different dining venues on board Pacific Dream serving a wide variety of dishes. These include the Grill, Oasis, the Beachcomber which serves meals 24 hours, the Island Restaurant which serves buffet meals, and the Steak House.

Entertainment and Nightlife

Nights on board Pacific Dream never gets boring due to the wide array of entertainment facilities and lounges from which to choose. The center for great entertainment is the Ocean Theater where West-End inspired productions are featured each night, as well as performances by guest comedians. Another great alternative venue for entertainment is the bounty Club which transforms from a cabaret lounge into a nightclub during the night. There is a total of seven nightclub and lounges on board, from quiet bars to noisier ones.

Cabins

Pacific Dream has a total of 721 cabins in all of its 9 passenger decks. The cabins are divided into 2 major categories, the ocean view cabins, and the interior cabins but you can also choose from various cabin categories with different pricing structures. Some of the usual cabin amenities include a hair dryer, vanity desk, television, telephone, and personal safe.

Recreation

There are two pools on board the ship, one of which is only for adults. The outdoor swimming pool is also adorned with nice Jacuzzis, perfect for adults to relax and simply chill out. Travelers who want to stay in shape throughout the cruise may want to spend some time at the ship's fitness facility equipped with exercise machines. Guests can also spend some time over at the ship's library and indulge themselves in a good book. There is also a cards room, various shops, and a photo gallery where you can hang out and have fun during the day.

The total amount of tips per person a day is at the discretion of each passenger.

Taking the Kids

The ship also offers child friendly facilities so they will never be bored throughout the cruise. The kids will have a great time over at the Tibu Club where non-stop children activities are offered.
