Allure of the Seas Cruise Ship

Launched on December 12, 2010, the Allure of the Seas cruise ship shares the title with her sister-ship, Oasis of the Seas, as the largest and most revolutionary cruise ship in the world. This mammoth ship offers just about everything to passengers of all ages for an ultimate holiday cruise to the Caribbean. The ship is 220,000 tons, measures 1,184 feet long and can accommodate up to 5,400 passengers at double occupancy. There are a total of 37 categories of accommodation options for guests. The 16-deck marvel has a total of 2,700 spacious staterooms.

Royal Caribbean’s ships are known for their signature interior boulevard of boutiques, restaurants, bars and lounges. However, when traveling on the Allure of the Seas, passengers are treated with a spectacular new design of the ship’s Royal Promenade. Read on about some of the favored highlights from Allure of the Seas reviews.

Highlights

Allure of the Seas showcases an open-sky Central Park that features lush and tropical grounds. It is located in the center of the ship. Over at the Central Park, natural light flows through two crystal canopy sculptured glass domes, illuminating the much wider Royal Promenade. This massive park is more than the length of a football field.

Cuisine

There are a wide variety of dining venues on board Allure of the Seas. For instance, passengers can have a nice cocktail in the Rising Tide bar at the Royal Promenade. The Rising Tide bar is the first-ever moving bar at sea. The Central Park is not only lined with foliage, but it also contains a number of fine restaurants and bars.

Entertainment and Nightlife

Life on board the Allure of the Seas is never dull because of diverse places of entertainment such as the line’s signature after-dark venues, which feature a wide variety of state-of-the-art productions.

Passengers are entertained with amazing high-dive acrobatics and water-fountain ballets synchronized to gorgeous lights and music at the Boardwalk.

Cabins

The favorite cabins on Allure of the Seas can be found in the staterooms on decks 7 through 12 and also on deck 17. Past cruisers warn of staterooms on deck 3 as not being favored.

Recreation

Allure of the Seas’ Boardwalk is adorned with several amusements, eateries, and shops, including the Aqua Theater, an amphitheater that features the deepest freshwater pool afloat. The open-sky Boardwalk also features a handcrafted carousel and 2 rock-climbing walls.

Royal Caribbean is renowned for its Vitality wellness program. Health-conscious travelers are able to soothe their minds, bodies and souls in the ship’s Vitality at Sea and Spa Fitness Center.

Active travelers always have a grand time at the Pool and Sports Zone, which features a sloped-entry beach pool, 2 surf simulators and a zip-line that soars 9 decks above the Boardwalk. The Allure of the Seas ship offers a total of 4 swimming pools and 10 whirlpools.

Taking the Kids

At Vitality at Sea and Spa Fitness Center, you will find a spa dedicated only to teens. The ship also includes a Youth Zone that provides an array of child-friendly adventures and facilities, such as the line’s first ever nursery for infants and toddlers.
