The mode of travel for this excursion is an 8 passenger, Safari themed English Land Rover Four Wheel Drive Jeep, heading west out of Montego Bay. The tour is designed to highlight a great deal of Jamaica's beauty, culture, and history which usually remains unseen due to lack of accessibility by virtue of the terrain. This terrain provides the thrill of this real 4-wheel driving adventure, supplemented by the interesting commentary by the experienced and well-informed drivers.

You'll travel into the interior of Jamaica cutting through the mountains via a mixture of rural roadways, farm access roads, and at times, tracks made only by the very jeeps of the tour. There is a stop at a river where you will hike to a series of natural pools and a waterfall. Prepare to be completely wet when you are ready to finally get back to the jeeps. The tour continues through the mountains to the Blue Hole Property where you might cross a river in your jeep (subject to safety) and where you'll begin to understand why the Land Rover is still the preferred mode of transport in the African Safaris. On a visit to estates, you will see the 1700’s ruins of the Sugar Factory and Great House where the owners of these grand properties lived.
