The waters arround Sitka and Baranof Island are teeming with game fish species. Sitka has the shortest rod-hour to catch ratio for King salmon in the state, so if it's salmon you're after, this is definitely the place. All five species of pacific salmon, halibut, lingcod, red snapper, and numerous other rockfish species also inhabit these waters. The halibut fishing grounds are farther from shore, so requires this longer tour.

You will purchase your fishing license and salmon tag on board the boat for $10 each, but everything else you need for your day of fishing is included. Equipment, bait, raingear, lunch and beverages are all provided
