This lovely tour takes you, whether a novice or experienced kayaker, through the protected waters of the sound. As you pass along our quaint fishing community, you will get an earful of the historical background of Sitka. Sitka probably has the most interesting history of all the cities we visited, as well as a beautiful blend of culture.

You will be able to see plenty of sea life along the way, and your guides will also have the knowledge to relate the importance of life underwater to the success of the city.

Sitka has mile after mile of sheltered waterways, narrow channels, gorgeous coves, and tide pools. This is a perfect place to try your hand (and arm) at kayaking.
