This tour allows you to get out and see some of the interesting areas south of the city. A 45-minute ride to the marina will give you that opportunity. Once you arrive, you will find some professionals expert in the fields of science and research who will take you out on the water. The vessels they use are semi-covered and take a maximum of 35 people, so you will be able to enjoy your experience in a smaller venue.

The most exciting part is finding the pod of resident whales who are usually spotted feeding on salmon in the Fraser River system. You should also be successful in spotting some bow-riding Dall's porpoises, sea lions bald eagles, seals and more.

In the early spring your focus will be on Sea Lions, seals, eagles, cormorants, herons and other wildlife.
