There is no way to cram the spectacle of the Big Island into a one-day experience, let alone two hours unless you see it from the air. This incredible helicopter tour will bring you comfortably close to everything imaginable, from the steam rising in an acrid desert to old and new lava flows created by Kilauea.

We offer two types of helicopters for this trip. You may select which helicopter you wish as you make your booking. The first is an A-Star, which offers 180 degree view for each passenger. It is generally the helicopter used for touring companies. The main difference is the rear seat is a bench seat for 4 people and the interior, very comfortable, is a bit smaller than the ECO-Star model.

The ECO-Star helicopter boasts a quieter ride and, because the rear seats are individual, you have a little more personal space. The cabin is a bit larger and therefore the visibility a little bit greater. Best to think of this as the business class heli.

Most important, though, is that every tour, whichever helicopter you choose, will be piloted by a person who is also an accredited tour guide who will impart information to you as you fly.
