BEST OF BARBADOS...ISLAND TOUR AND SNORKEL WITH THE TURTLES
$115 Per Person and $63 Per Child

Your day begins with a visit to the famous Harrison's Cave. Don your hardhat for a tour of this sub-surface phenomenon, said to be the only one of its kind in the Caribbean. This magnificent spot is a series of caverns packed with underground streams and waterfalls, stalagmites and stalactites. Your experience will be enhanced with indirect lighting and a comfortable tramride that takes you through this subterranean scene, called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

From Harrison's Cave, traveling uphill and down, you'll find yourself in Bathsheba, a historic seaside spot that is special to all Bajans. The center of the beach is known here as the "Soup Bowl" and is a popular spot for surfers. Here and there you will find a little shop or gallery or something that catches your interest. Your ride continues along the east coast, known for its pockets of sandy beaches nestled between large boulders and hidden under craggy cliffs carved by the Atlantic winds.

Enjoy a delicious lunch of chicken or fish (vegetarian entree available upon request) at a local restaurant before visiting the The Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Here you'll observe at close range the antics of the Barbados green monkey. You will see them in their natural habitat; young monkeys at play while mothers are feeding their babies. Other animals are also roaming freely in this setting and you should come across tortoises, otters, agoutis, and porcupine to name a few. You need not worry about the pythons - they are caged!

After getting a feel for the island, you will board a glass bottom boat for 3 hours of snorkeling Barbados' spectacular underwater sights. First stop is the Marine Reserve where you will view a colorful collection of fish and coral. From there you will head to an area frequented by Barbados' abundant sea turtles. Although turtles are not guaranteed, it very common to come across them. Make sure you bring your waterproof camera along for some unforgettable photo ops
